If you think you don't know who Madds Buckley is, you're probably wrong. The 25 year old singer-songwriter is the creator of songs such as "The Red Means I Love You" and "Brother", both of which are a part of her album, Sunset on Summerville. The songs on this album were inspired by various characters from the anime, My Hero Academia.
In fact, many of her songs were inspired by, or can be related to the media that she and her audience both enjoy.
Despite the way she often draws inspiration from stories in anime and manga, her more recent releases follow a story of her own creation. The story features original characters of hers, and follows their relationship from start to finish, and even beyond.
The album follows a relationship in many stages, and the many emotions that those stages can bring. Because of this, the songs hold similar themes and more personal emotions, able to connect with the hearts of an even larger audience.
